ייעודם של מרכז המדיה ומעבדת הצילום הוא להדריך וללמד את הסטודנטיות והסטודנטים בתחומי הצילום, לכידת התמונה והמדיה מן הבחינות הטכנית והאמנותית וכן לתת עזרה וסיוע לסגל האקדמי וסגל ההוראה בכל העבודות הקשורות בנושאי הצילום והמדיה בהוראה ובמחקר.

מבנה המעבדה

המעבדה מכילה סטודיו דיגיטלי מקצועי עם מתקלים לצילום מודלים תלת־ממדיים ועבודות דו־ממדיות. במעבדה רקעי נייר מתחלפים ובד ירוק לצילומי וידאו, עמדות עריכה מתקדמות וציוד להשאלה.

המעבדה פתוחה לשימוש כלל הסטודנטיות והסטודנטים בפקולטה לפי נוהל הרישום כפי שמופיע כאן.
