The Ultimaker 2 is an easy-to-use, high-speed, accurate, and reliable desktop 3D printer. It not only has industry leading layer resolution (up to 20 microns), but also a large build ratio (part-to-printer size ratio) amongst desktop 3D printers. Its open filament system does not restrict the users to only using filaments produced by Ultimaker. Ultimaker has a large user community who is open to sharing ideas and knowledge, allowing its users to gain the best out of their 3D printers.
